It was an eventful first go at the WIRED GOLF tournament series. Valderrama with its tight fairways, dense tree cover, and undulating greens proved to play as tough as it does on tour. Being our very first event there were bound to be some hiccups (hence the unlimited mulligans). One of them revolved around entry fee. Only 7 of the 17 people actually paid before the end of the month. As a result only those players will be getting paid out. We will chalk this up as a test run for future events. Its advised to just venmo me $20 at CASEYWIREGOLF the day you start an event. There will be no year long points given out for this event. Here are the scores for those who paid:

For many of our members, the time they can spend pounding balls or playing a round of golf is either before work or after. Factors such as having kids, working down town, or having late work hours can make it difficult getting to WIRED before 9pm, which is our typical closing time during the week. After researching how to best accommodate the needs of the membership we have found a solution!
Within the next few weeks we will be open for member only play from 6am until 10am. This is made possible by having a digital door lock installed on the front door. Each member who would like to utilize the facility during these times will need to go through tutorial with the owner on how to turn on the computer and projector as there will be no employee on duty at this time (yes you will need to sign a waiver). We do have cameras in the club with two way audio so we can still help out when needed. After the tutorial you will get a unique four digit code to unlock the front door and a contact number that goes to the pros if you need any help in the morning.
